Dan has written humor pieces for Playboy, ClickHole, and The WB. Dan’s comedy deals with the daily anxieties of life in our increasingly complex world, the confusion about our place in that world, and also jokes about snakes.

Dan is behind the wildly popular “NOT A WOLF” Twitter account. NOT A WOLF now boasts over 150,000 followers on Twitter and 65,000 followers on Facebook. The account was nominated for a 2018 Shorty Award for "Best in Weird"

Dan is one of the creators of the comedy show and podcast “We Still Like You” which challenges comedians to tell a story of true embarrassment and shame so that they can be forgiven by the audience en masse with a hearty cheer of “We still like you!”

We Still Like You was named one of the best comedy shows in St. Louis in 2014, one of the best comedy nights in the country by Interrobang in 2016, and one of the best comedy shows in Denver in 2017

The Guardian called We Still Like You, “consistently funny and punk rock as hell” and Splitsider hailed its “tales of shame with quality storytelling.”

Dan’s past projects include viral dating blog “I Suck At Tinder” which, while it was still actively being updated, had more than 100,000 followers on Facebook. It still retains over 80,000 followers. I Suck At Tinder was recommended by Jezebel, Playboy, Huffington Post, and more. Dan's satirical Twitter account @FakeBrotherJed was popular throughout the University of Missouri and was covered by USA Today. Dan has had his writing featured in “best tweets” lists by BuzzFeed, Paste, and more.
